STEP 1 – PASSPORT

For stays shorter than 90 days:

• Please enclose a copy of your passport information page—we do not need your original passport.
• Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you intend to enter Australia.

For stays longer than 90 days:

• If you are planning to stay in Australia longer than 3 months, please enclose your original passport.
• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date you intend to enter Australia. (Please note, passport pages 22, 23, and 24 are not visa pages.)

STEP 2 – VISA APPLICATIONS

• An ETA visa is required for all U.S. citizens to enter Australia. To print out the application, please click here.

• A business visa is required for U.S. citizens entering Australia to conduct business. To print out the application, please click here.

STEP 4 – SUPPORT 

It may be required that you provide evidence of onward travel bookings from Australia, i.e., your travel itinerary from a travel agent or airline. If that is available, please send it.  If it is not available, we will let you know if we need additional information.
